Most of us recycle paper and glass bottles and then there is a smaller part of us that also brings the metal cans to a recycling point.
But what about plastic bags?
You know that at lots of locations they accept plastic bags?
For instance here in Calgary (Canada) the recycling dropoff points accept plastic bags and they don’t limit it to just the shopping bags but you can recycle all kind of plastic bags like bread bags, sandwichbags, clothes bags and even bubble wrap. They don’t accept things like chips bags but still there is enough plastic going around that they accept and this way we can keep it out of the landfill and they can reuse it for something usefull for us.
Come on people recycle we have to!

A couple of days ago i was visiting my local Wal Mart and I overheard the staff talking about their coffee brakes.
Wal Mart stoped giving allowing Plastic one time use cups and now everybody needed to bring their own coffee mug. I wonder if Wal Mart does this everywhere or if it just something local but if a BIG store like them can do it why can’t you make this change at your work?
And by doing this we can all save tree’s, Oil and place on the landfills. Just think about it and get yourself a nice glass or stone cup for your coffee brake.

You know there are some simple ways that we can all help the world using less electricity.
Of course we all know about engery saving light bulps and we all have some in our home don’t we?
But do you noticed that public washrooms most times keep the light on all day?
My idea is that if all of us start putting the light of after we are done using the washroom we can save some electricity and so get a greener world.
So please join in and don’t just focus on the washrooms there are other places where the light can go off

Toothpaste is one of those things people can’t live without and we all seem to use a lot of but did you know that a drop a big as a Jelly Bean is big enough?
Manufacturers of toothbrush make the head big enough to put much much more on it and most of us do but you really don’t need to keeping the excess toothpaste out of your system is a lot heathier for you and your teeth don’t need that much either.
And just think about the amount of toothpaste you save in lots of cases people can save 2/3 of their toothpaste use and this doesn’t end up in the enviroment either and the money of the extra tubes stays in your pocket.
Just keep this in mind next time you teeth need to be cleaned!

You know many of us take the electronic hotel keys home where they then eventualy end up in the garbage because what can you do with them at home anyways?
If you would just give it back to the hotel when you left then they could and would reuse them and that way less bad plastics and magnectic strips end up in the garbage pile.

Most of us these days when we get to a store we choose the automaticly opening doors to get in don’t we?
You wonder what would happen if we all would stop doing that and just use the doors that you need to give a little push or pull. I think we can save a fair amount of electricity and wear and tear and that way save our enviroment.
Don’t you think that small things like this can make a difference in the long run?
